Mmmm.. adding kale is a great idea! Chili is definitely one of my favorite cold-weather meals, and I could indeed hibernate for a few days with a big pot of this chili.
It's been too long since I've made my own chili, though I've been really meaning to and using my meat grinder to try grinding my own meats for it. One of these days!
