And it was good. Except I've made another tomato strata, and I think I liked that one better. Maybe it's the goat cheese. Goat cheese has a way of always stealing my heart.
Either way, I'm posting this since It's delicious with fresh tomatoes!! Whatever variation you choose, may I implore you to use goat cheese? Thanks :)
Is there a single ingredient that can make (or break) a dish for you??

Goat cheese is soooooooo yummy! Any kind of cheese will make a meal for me, honestly...especially brie. If I had to live off one cheese for the rest of my life, it'd have to be brie! :)
Goat cheese totally makes every dish better. I love stratas... great way to use up stale-ish bread! :)
I adore goat cheese and think these recipes are a perfect way to enjoy my favorite cheese!
There is something about simple ingredients that just make the most rockin recipes. But I agree- goat cheese...especially warm goat cheese...so good! I can't wait to eat it again! ah! Enjoy the weekend
I loveee strata! This looks delicious. But I understand... Goat cheese can TOTALLY make a dish. It's just so darn tasty!
Sues
i love strata!
i wish i could say the same about goat cheese.
BUT i haven't tried baking with goat cheese, so maybe it will taste better to me if its baked. (it just tastes so gamey to me--i know weird)
Hmm goat cheese always steals my heart also. So I totally get it. But it looks good to me!
This looks so good! I've been trying to think of other things to make with eggs. Definitely want to try this
I adore stratas! I love strong tangy cheeses like goat cheese too!
I'm also partial to goat cheese - you just can't go wrong with it. The one ingredient that can totally ruin a dish for me is olives... I can't stand them. This strata looks great!
What a lovely summer meal! And you know I'm with on the goat cheese...from TJs :)
sooo I'm not sure if I ever had strata?! well, it looks amazing! I know i'd love it.
Wow you have really taken brunch to such a delicious level....goat cheese rules!
I love goat cheese! Sometimes when I'm at a restaurant though, I'll order a dish just because it has avocado or guacamole.
So...any plans to try to make your own goat cheese? Or buy your own goat? Are you ready to take things to the next level? :-)
