I don't like chicken wings, and never used to like anything spicy, so I always stayed away from Buffalo this or that. That was then.
Thank god my taste buds grew up :) I had seen Dani make buffalo meatballs awhile back, and after unearthing some ground chicken from the depths of my freezer I knew just what I wanted to do with it!
I followed her recipe, cut in half for my 1/2lb of ground chicken. The only thing I did differently was to form it into two burgers instead of meatballs and grill it up! I still don't like blue cheese all that much, so I skipped the dressing and topped mine off with a thick slice of grilled Vidalia onion. Still had my carrot sticks and celery on the side! The burgers were great, very moist (from the hot sauce i think) and flavorful--I'll definitely be making these again!

Buffalo is one of my favorite flavors (or is it seasonings? Marinades?) of all time. I pretty much grew up with orange fingers and the need to run to the bathroom to wash my face and drink copious amounts of cool water - although I don't think cool water actually helped ;o) That said, I have never experienced it in the form of a burger, and it sounds much more appealing than those wings! I love the fact that you had carrot sticks and celery on the side ;o)
Missed you!
Who doesn't love buffalo flavored ANYTHING. Yummy! Perfect for summer :) Hope you're having a good week!
mmm they sound amazing!
I can't believe you are only now coming around to spicy foods. I love them! I would devour this burger.
I don't like buffalo wings...but I do love buffalo sauce! This is a great use of it and I never get tired of chicken burgers.

It looks delicious and easy to make! :)
Hubs will love these, he is a big fan of spicy!
Oh yeah, if I showed these to Adam he may fall in love with you. Haha. I am SO making these... and soon! I don't like blue cheese either... I wonder if goat cheese would work. Mmm, goat cheese :)

I love buffalo flavored things and keep telling myself to use it more since I have a bottle sitting around. My favorite pizza at school was buffalo chicken pizza. I need to try these burgers though!
These sound great! Spicy and delicious!
A buffalo chicken burger sounds awesome! Perfect with Vidalia onion!
Isn't it funny how one's palate changes over time? I used to loathe mushrooms and then I discovered about two years ago that I absolutely love them and eat them in everything. This is an interesting recipe. You're making me think I want to do an adaptation of it as a mealoaf. Hmmmm.
OMG, I am totally going to make this - you know I like all things spicy! :D
My husband can't stand chicken burgers, so I'll make these for my lunch - thanks for the idea!
That looks really good. I have some ground turkey in the freezer, so maybe I'll use it for this.
Yummie! Will try this for one of our summer BBQ, looks delicious. Love the simplicity of it.
No!! You don't like blue cheese with buffalo?! IT'S AMAZING! I love the addition of vidalia! Brilliant and beautifully plated!
I'm glad your taste buds grew up too :) I'm glad you're posting a little more again!
Then I would really eat this spicy chicken burger. Because a regular burger, I am not fond of it!
I don't dig spicy either, but going to school in Buffalo made me appreciate Franks Red Hot, which is not that hot, but it has that certain something.
I'm thinking it works great in chicken burgers if it's good enough for wings :)
oh that sounds good! I'll take the blue cheese, though!
YUM! This post as well as your previous post has me droooooooooling!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously...come cook for me!!
It looks like one tasty chicken burger..and I would like the blue cheese as well..
What a yummy burger! I'm not a fan of wings either and people always look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that!
Yay for lunch next week :)

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment, I always learn from others too.
I can't believe the amount of stuff we have in common as Upstate NY kids. Stewarts, Polish, there's a whole bunch there :)
My plum pierogi is one of the first couple of posts I did on my blog, prob about a year ago now.

These sound great! my husband loves super spicy stuff, and this looks like something he would love
Nom nom nom :) I like how you've got them in pitas. It's kinda like a chicken burger cross with a chicken falafel. Hehe.
Buffalo chicken burgers sound tasty! It is burger season!
