For the home cook:
Cookbooks (Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and Blue Chair Jam might be at the top of my list!)
Fun food products (specialty ingredients like vanilla beans or heirloom beans, or a Molecular Gastronomy kit)
Kitchen Toys (a Vitamix, a Kitchen Aid or the ice cream or pasta maker attachment, even a gel mat!)
Basics (silpats, beater blades and microplanes are great bets)
The Kitch'n also has some great ideas for pairing cookbooks with a kitchen gadget!
For the (tri)athlete:
Trigger Point Therapy (the Grid >> traditional foam rollers)
Whoohagear (I'm eye-ing the Tri Hearts Hoodie, I Made a Promise and I Tri Tees)
Race Registration
Snazzy Apparel (SOAS race kit anyone?)
Gear (a GPS, tri bag, sneakers, bike, wetsuit, or fuelbelt are solid options!)
What's at the top of your list?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say it might involved some tomato jam?! In that case, this giveaway is for you :) I've put together a few goodies to celebrate the holiday season, as I'm grateful for all of my readers!
The loot:
Homemade Sweet & Spicy Tomato Jam
Peppermint Pig (from back home, for good luck!)
Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste
Reusable bags
Garlic Zoom XL

I'm asking for a cast iron skillet this year... how is it that I don't have one already?!
That molecular gastronomy kit is so cool! I've never heard of such a thing. I bet it would be a lot of fun. At the real top of my list is something that can't be wrapped, I think you know what that is ;) But I'd be totally happy with a garlic zoom too!
Like you on FB!
Umm I totally need that foam roller in my life. I have a regular old one but my PT swears by the trigger point...and he's right.
On my list is a pizza stone!
I liked you on FB!
I want some individual gratin dishes or French onion soup bowls. I have most of the "essential" kitchen items so now I am looking for pretty/cute things =)
Liked you on fb!
Your tomato jam is definitely at the top of my list!
And I like you on Facebook (and you know, just in general). :)
I've had my eye on a few cookbooks published this year including Yottam Ottolenghi's "Plenty" and Food52's compilation. We'll see what Santa ends up bringing me.
Love this! And I don't need to tell you that tomato jam is at the top of my list :)
I have a few cookbooks on my list and a juicer!

I want to "like" Jean's comment. :-) Also, PEPPERMINT PIGS! I totally forgot about those. I have a warm winter coat and hand cream at the top of my list. New England winters... sigh.
Those tri shirts are so cute!
Tomato jam is so exciting! Hmmm, what I'd really like is more time, does that count? :)

i want that jam cookbook, too! great minds :)
plus new tights, nailpolish, and kitchen rugs. random list, but it's what i need!
and i like ya on FB!
tomato jam! Just jumped to the top of my list. Also a silpat :-)
What a cute little giveaway! I love everything on your list although I have to say, do people really ask for vitamixes for Christmas? If I put one on my list my parents would probably tell me to laugh and keep dreaming or would express shock and outrage that a blender could be so expensive. I've definitely thought about buying one though. It's in the back of my mind for when/if my current one dies.
everything in the giveaway sounds awesome and thanks for the great gift ideas. I got sooo many kitchen gifts last year, on my list this year is more clothes & shoes!! (typical)
What a great little care package! I have Nigel Slater's Tender: A cook and his vegetable patch on my list and an traditional Indian spice box.
Hey ! you can have better Gadget Gifts here on this christmas.
